What is Focusing?

FOCUSING is a powerful and practical tool for Emotional self-healing. Itʻs an excellent way to develop your intuition. It is a body-oriented process of self-awareness and spiritual healing. You learn how to find and form a relationship with the "felt sense" - a body sensation that is meaningful and intelligent. In Focusing you learn HOW to listen to the Felt Sense and to let it speak to you.. You learn to allow yourself to open to the depth and richness of your whole Self. Focussing is a process of listening to your body in a gentle, accepting way hearing the messages your inner Self is sending you. You honour the wisdom inside of you at the subtle level of knowing that speaks through your body.

Who does it & when?

Every Focusing Session is unique to that particular time and space. Practitioners can use Focusing Skillsin Sessions to help Clients move forward and deepen their understanding and relationship with themselves. It helps the Client to break blocks and to trust in their body and feelings. It is a natural process we all have but our experiences of hurt and alienation from our Feeling Intelligences have caused us to lose contact with it. Anyone interested in their emotional and spiritual health and healing can learn this broad purpose skill and use it whenever you need it for the rest of your life!
