Hawaiian Studies Community is a true community of Learners who love being learning together. They uphold what a Hālau is about - encouraging and supporting each other learn, knowing everyone is at a different starting place. It's an informal, inclusive different way to learn, and we have a little bit of fun along the way. That's how learning should be, right?
😊 We meet twice each month to study the Teachings of our Lineage with Kumu Paʻa Julia Nālani, and whilst itʻs aimed at Practitioners of Lomilomi, Hoʻoponoono and other Hawaiian Healing Modalities, thereʻs Members who arenʻt Practitioners of Hawaiian Healing too. Weʻre all in there together - itʻs open to all who are interested to learn, although the focus is on developing Practitioners of Hawaiian Healing.
😍 It is a learning program that is both structured & unstructured, learner focussed, informal and all about helping Practitioners to bring more to their Client work, and everyone getting to know themselves better using our Teachings as their Guide.
⭐ Every quarter we change it up with a different learning theme and range of activities - for Practitioners it might include practical things like Business Building, Marketing and how to get Ideas to Implementation; for Everyone itʻs exploring new ways to apply the Learning. Always the Teachings are our Foundation and Focus. We explore, try things out, skillbuild, make discoveries, problem-solve... Weʻre keeping it small and intimate - so if you want in, jump in and grab your spot.
